Privacy Policy
This explains what IPTVIBE, a media player app for smart TVs, collects and why.
What we collect from your TV
- A scrambled identifier made from your TV's hardware ID. We use it to run one free trial per TV and to keep an activation linked to one TV.
- TV model, firmware, app version, language and screen size.
- IP address and the approximate location, time zone and internet provider that come with it.
- The dates your TV first and last opened the app, and how many times it has opened.
What we collect when you buy
Stripe handles your payment. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares your email, country, the amount and the payment status with us.
What we do not collect
- What you watch, or your channel lists.
- Your playlist link. When you send one from your phone, it is held only until your TV receives it, and for 10 minutes at most.
Why we use it
To run the trial, confirm activations, prevent abuse and fraud, and provide customer support. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- IP address and location: 12 months after your TV last used the app.
- TV details: while your TV uses the app.
- The scrambled identifier and trial or activation record: as long as the service runs, so a trial is given only once.
- Purchase records: as long as the law requires.
Who handles it
Cloudflare hosts this service. Stripe processes payments. TMDB provides movie and series details, and YouTube plays trailers, when you use those features; they receive your IP address.
Your choices
The app asks for your consent before sending anything. You can read this policy at any time in Settings, System. Withdrawing consent there deletes your IP address, location and TV details and stops further collection. The app cannot run without this data, so it will ask again the next time it opens. The record that a TV has used its trial stays.
To ask for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, email the customer support address shown in the store listing or reply to your payment receipt.
Children
If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf.
